What Clients Ask Us Most About Remote Online Notarization
Not sure how online notarization works or if it’s accepted for your situation? You’re not alone. These answers are based on real questions we get every day — from families, attorneys, and professionals across the U.S. and abroad.
Can I notarize a Power of Attorney document online if I live outside the U.S.?
Yes! As long as you're a U.S. citizen or your document originates from the U.S., we can legally notarize it — even if you’re abroad.
Can my attorney, spouse, and I all sign from different states or countries?
Absolutely. We coordinate multi-party signings across locations and time zones. Witnesses can be provided if required.
Is online notarization accepted in all 50 states?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) is legal in Ohio and many other U.S. states. We ensure your notarization meets the requirements of your state and receiving agency.
Can I get a document notarized and apostilled from another country?
Yes! We offer online notarization, certified translation, and apostille services — even if you’re overseas. We manage the entire process for you.
What types of ID are accepted for online notarization?
Most U.S. state laws require a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID. For international clients, we may also request additional verification like a secondary form of ID or proof of U.S. citizenship. Our platform uses secure identity verification tools including KBA (knowledge-based authentication) and credential analysis.
Is Remote Online Notarization secure and legally recorded?
Yes. All online notarizations are encrypted, time-stamped, and recorded in accordance with state law. The recording is stored securely and can be used as legal proof if ever challenged. We use Secured Signing, which is compliant with industry regulations.
Do I need a witness, and can you provide one?
Some documents — like wills or POAs — require a witness in addition to the notary. If you don’t have someone available, we can provide a legally authorized witness for an additional fee, even for multi-party signings across different locations.
Can our business or law firm use your RON services for clients or contracts?
Absolutely. We regularly partner with law firms, title companies, HR departments, and global businesses to notarize real estate contracts, compliance forms, and employee authorizations. Ask us about setting up a secure, repeat-use system for your team.
Still have questions?
We’re happy to walk you through what’s needed — especially if this is your first time using RON.

Court-Admissible DNA Testing for Immigration
We often work with clients using RON for immigration-related forms. In many of these cases, the courts also request a DNA test to prove a biological relationship — especially for family reunification petitions.
We provide:
Court-approved DNA testing
Notarized chain-of-custody forms
Certified translation services when needed
If you're already doing your notarization online, we can guide you through the rest.
